Getting started

Prepare your data transfer

Start with a small sample and review the import results before transferring the rest of your records.

Prepare contacts before invoices

Export CSV files from your current system and keep the originals. Import contacts first, then products and historical invoices from Settings → Import. Match the CSV columns to the fields shown in the import screen.

Preview and review each result

Run a preview before committing an import. Review skipped duplicates and row errors; a matching contact or product is skipped rather than updated. Check a sample of names, prices, invoice balances and currencies after importing.

Keep unsupported history in your original system

Historical invoice CSV imports represent one line per invoice. Use the past-invoice form for invoices with several lines. Supplier bills, attachments, job history and automatic updates of existing records are outside this CSV import. Preserve original invoices and tax records; imported balances do not recreate prior tax remittances.

Keep ownership and remaining work clear

Your business retains its records and access. Delegated agency access is disabled. If someone helps you prepare files outside the app, agree on the work separately, document unresolved errors and keep control of your account, domain and billing. Do not share account passwords.
